love, the griswolds

While my mom had most of the family in town over Thanksgiving, she decided to get a picture for her Christmas card. It's easier said than done. Especially when three of the people were under the age of three and we had no photographer.

Josh positioned the camera while the rest of us...well, it's hard to say what we were doing.

Doesn't every family have at least one picture like this??

The storm before the calm...

when you're wrangling kids, wiping noses, combing hair...

Wouldn't it be great if everyone used an outtake for their Christmas card?

It'd be a giant leap for authenticity.

And would surely make your loved ones crack up when they opened their mail.

  1. All I see in these photos is a cry for help from Mr. Gravina.

Either that, or you pulled him away from a football game/solving an exciting mathematical theorem.

also, adam seems to be keeping the same cool demeanor in each picture.

p.s. big cousin looks so much like her mom!

  3. Love these. Gravina is so stoic in all of them, but especially the first one!

  4. Hahaha, LOVED the comments! I agree, it looks like a grown man crying out for help. He's a veteran and one of the most laid back people I know, but somehow the family pictures strike fear in his heart.
